Hand held x-ray has been a low cost option for many clinics that wish to provide a mobile service as well. Our mobile units provide lead acrylic safety barriers to protect against direct and scatter radiation. A lead back shield is also installed to protect the user.
Good diagnosis starts with the best image quality. To produce sharp, clear radiographic our hand held mobile units have a 0.4 mm focal spot plus a 60kV DC X-ray generator that delivers consistent exposure for the reliable diagnostic images.
There are considerable cost savings as the mobility of the hand held unit requires no installation whilst expanding workflow to the field.
Sharp images The X-Mind™ Unity generator has a 0.4mm focal spot which, together with configurable voltage (60, 65, 70 Kv) and current (4-7 Ma) settings, ensures a sharp and contrasted image.
Standard 0.7mm focal point
Unity 0.4mm focal point
Easy to use The X-Mind™ Unity makes positioning simple and stress-free through its advanced ergonomic design and intuitive grip which requires only one hand to move. The anti-vibration and anti-movement mechanism built into the X-Mind™ Unity keeps the unit steady and still, ensuring the precision of your shots. Just grab, position and shoot!
Flexible Can be configured to fit into any treatment area. Whether the X-Mind™ Unity is installed on a mobile trolly, top or bottom mounted, three different arm lengths offer unparalleled flexibility to meet your operatory requirements. The X-Mind™ Unity has manual controls that will also work with your existing sensor, film or phosphor plate and SOPIX Inside can be added later if needed.
Exclusive Advantage When the SOPIX Sensor Inside is combined with the X-Mind™ Unity, images are consistently clear, making your diagnosis more reliable than ever. The X-Mind™ Unity communicates with the ACE® technology present in the SOPIX Sensor Inside. This technology activates and stops the generator to provide the exact amount of x-ray emission needed to enable perfect image exposure, eliminating any risk of overexposure for both the image and staff. Depending on patient morphology, there is up to 52% less radiation using ACE®. This pairing reduces the need for retakes, reducing staff frustration and patient anaesthesia time.Categories:
Radiology supplies has a wide range of digital dental sensors. All our sensors have veterinary as well as human based software packages. We also include TWAIN protocol drivers so that where possible these can be integrated into your existing patient management software.
From cutting edge HD technology that reduces radiation exposure by uo to basic digital dental sensors we can provide the solution for your clinic.
For veterinarians the positioning of the sensor in the patients mouth is key to successful dental radiography. We provide expert training in clinic so that your team can quickly and effectively produce diagnostic veterinary dental x-rays.
